Today we’re taking a closer look at another wonderful contribution to this year’s Bealtaine Festival Exhibition!
Arts for an Active Mind is a weekly art session facilitated by Paul Cialis that has taken place at Uillinn on Monday mornings since 2002. Anyone over 55 can join, as long as there’s room at the table.
This year’s Bealtaine Exhibition features their new collection of work. The pieces reflect each group member’s personal experiences of the Bealtaine Festival theme, Lust for Life.
The group offers a relaxed and social approach exploring visual art for the over 50s. Activities include: painting, printing and meeting artists in residence at Uillinn. The facilitating artists take a combined approach of demonstration and practical application to explore visual art techniques and contemporary practices.
Arts for an Active Mind is a lifelong learning initiative supported by Cork Education and Training Board.
