A new series of Creative Carers launched in Dunmanway this week!
On Tuesday 4 March, Arts for Health visual artist Bénédicte Coleman facilitated the first session of a new 8 week art workshop series in Dunmanway Family Resource Centre.
The introductory session focused on exploring monoprinting using water-based printing inks, brayers, and different types of paper. The group chatted and connected over a cup of tea while working and being creative together. The first successful steps into printmaking have encouraged the group to give it another go at the next session!
If you’re a family carer and are interested in getting involved, please don’t hesitate to get in touch! These sessions are welcoming spaces to have fun, connect with others, and explore your own creativity. No previous experience is needed, all materials are provided, and they are free to attend.
To join the Creative Carers in Dunmanway sessions, please contact Debbie on 083 3943336 or call Dunmanway Family Resource Centre on 023 8856818.
