Lough Ine, a new collection of work from Arts for an Active Mind, features as part of this year’s Bealtaine Exhibition.
Taking inspiration from the heritage and cultural uniqueness of the landscape, the Arts for an Active Mind group members captured West Cork’s famous lough in deep blues, vibrant greens, and occasionally, delicate watercolours. The pieces reflect each artists’ personal experiences and memories of the striking sea-water lake.
Arts for an Active Mind is a weekly session facilitated by Paul Cialis. It has taken place at Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre on Monday mornings since 2002.
Anyone over 55 can join, as long as there is room at the table.
