Creative Carers at Uillinn is a series of six art workshops for anyone who cares for someone at home. The workshops will take an informal and relaxed approach to exploring creativity, offering participants a chance to develop their own ideas, take a moment for themself, and connect with others providing care at home.
The Creative Carers Programme provides enjoyable social and creative engagement opportunities for family carers in West Cork. Managed by Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre as part of Arts for Health Partnership, the service is delivered by a team of expert artists and musicians welcoming all people who provide care for a family member in their home across West Cork.
Creative Carers at Uillinn will be facilitated by Arts for Health artist Sarah Ruttle. Sarah is a visual artist based in West Cork. She creates work using illustration, print, and paper art. Sarah has worked as an artist on the Arts for Health Partnership Artist team since 2008.
