Frozen and Forgotten

Inspired by a local bicycle festival, the artists encouraged residents, staff and visitors to share their individual bicycle memories and associated recollections in drawing or text. The stories and images are gathered in this publication as part of the on-going commitment to sharing and celebrating the important artwork that is created through the Arts for Health Partnership Programme.

Frozen and Forgotten documents a two month collaborative art project led by artist Anne Harrington Rees working with participants on the Monday afternoon Arts for Health sessions at Dunmanway Community Hospital.

Bike Week is a celebration and promotion of all that’s great about bikes and cycling. Held over a week in June of each year with bike themed events organised by local authorities, community groups and cycling groups throughout Ireland
