Opportunity for Artists – Arts for Health Learning Residency
Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre in partnership with Cork County Council/Creative Ireland, Cork ETB and HSE Cork Kerry Community Healthcare are inviting expression of interest from artists who would like to take up learning residency as part of the Arts for Health Partnership Programme.
The successful artist will be awarded a studio space at Uillinn for September 29 – November 6, a series of 5 mentor sessions and a stipend of €1200 and will design and deliver a remote project with older people at home. The opportunity will incorporate a three-day online learning 7 to 9 December 2021.
The objective of this opportunity is to support an artist to develop their arts and health practice and explore remote ways of work with older people at home. It is open to all art forms and is suited to early career artists with some experience in participatory or collaborative practice.

Essential Criteria:
Artists must be based in County Cork
Available for the studio dates and learning programme
Evidence of professional practice and some experience inworking with people
Garda Clearance is a requirement for the successful applicant.
This Arts for Health residency is funded by Cork County Council Creative Ireland programme
