Deck of Cards

As a way of encouraging more of the men to participate I suggested that we create a 52 card pack (plus a joker or two!) specific to the venue, using images of favourite things/places/people etc.  The participants created images for each of the number and picture cards, with the same image of the venue on the reverse of each card.  A local printer printed some packs of cards and the participants used one of them to play their weekly game of 45s.
