As part of this years inaugaral RESONATE Festival, Composer Justin Grounds will bring his musical café mornings to Skibbereen. Justin will host a once off coffee morning for Carers on Wednesday 2nd August, 11am at Sharons View (Café at Uillinn – we can go inside at Uillinn if the weather is not on our side) in Skibbereen. The session will be an informal and relaxed opportunity to connect with other Carers in the community and explore ways to bring music and creativity into our daily lives with those we care for. Share and chat about some of our favourite music and learn about making and sharing playlists, while exploring rhythms and melodies.
Participation is free – booking essential. To book your place, email info@westcorkartscentre.com or phone 028 22090
More about RESONATE Festival: July 29th to August 4th, 2023, FORMERLY SKIBBEREEN FEELGOOD FESTIVAL – it is a FESTIVAL WITHIN A FESTIVAL! TAKING PLACE AS PART OF THE SKIBBEREEN ARTS FESTIVAL
Resonate is a celebration of community, born out of a desire to create spaces for people to unite and engage with others in arts and cultural activities. The festival aims to create experiences for participants to slow down, engage with a practice and connect with place, the self and the community in a shared experience. It’s all about wellbeing, creativity, community, and the Irish language!
With this goal of connection and engagement, Resonate brings together partners 49 North Street and Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre (connecting with their Arts for Health programme) coordinated and initiated by Michelle Collins.

More About CREATIVE CARERS
The Creative Carers Programme was launched in 2022 to provide enjoyable social and creative engagement opportunities for family carers – people who provide care for a loved one in the home.
Managed by Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre as part of Arts for Health Partnership, the programme is currently delivered by experienced arts and health artists. See HERE for more details.
