So excited today, after months of consideration and preparation we went to the post box with 223 packages for people staying safe at home. With this package we invite participants to carry on being creative with us!
Bring Art Home  is our Arts for Health response to remaining connected to our day care participant who have not been able to attend their Care Centre for quite some time. Since as far back as 1999, we have been working with the wonderful healthcare staff to deliver an Arts programme with people attending the Day Care Centre making and creating artworks and music together. Our artists have missed very much visiting everyone at the Day Care Centres, including the amazing team of Day Care Coordinators who made time to check in with each person to seek their interest in taking part. Over two hundred people have opted in from Bantry, Castletownbere, Clonakilty, Dunmanway and Skibbereen
Inside is a gift of poetry, written by Sean from Bantry and artist Tess Leak along with an invitation from one of our artists for you to take part in one of 6 projects designed by artists Anne Harrington Rees, Michael Greenlaw, Bénédicte Colmain, Fiona Kelleher, Sharon Dipity and Justin Grounds. Each artist has designed their project to especially work from home. Some projects will be by post, others might be by telephone or smartphone app.
Looking forward to hearing back …
